Freefloat is a Dutch invention that has provided a smart and remarkably simple solution to a familiar challenge in the professional DJ world since 2003: vibrations, feedback and skipping needles when playing vinyl.

Introduced at Dance Valley in 2003, Freefloat quickly found its way into DJ booths, clubs and major events. Over the years, it has been used at high-profile events including Tiësto in Concert at the GelreDome, Sensation White & Black, the Love Parade, Extrema and the North Sea Jazz Festival.

The strength of Freefloat lies in its simplicity. Instead of using heavy or complicated constructions to isolate a turntable, Freefloat uses air to mechanically decouple the turntable from the DJ booth or stage. A compact Dutch idea that became a distinctive accessory for vinyl DJs around the world.

More than twenty years after its introduction, the principle remains just as relevant: fewer vibrations, less feedback and more freedom to play vinyl where the music is meant to be loud.
